Inviting team members and managing their roles within Poliage is a straightforward process designed to facilitate collaboration and streamline content strategy operations. This document outlines the steps to invite team members through a web-based flow and explains the responsibilities associated with each role.

Inviting Team Members

To grow your team within Poliage, follow these steps to invite new members and assign them appropriate roles based on their responsibilities and access needs.

Accessing Team Management

  1. Log In: Sign into your Poliage account.
  2. Navigate: Go to the Workspace Management section from the dashboard.
  3. Team Invitation: Click on Team Invitation.

Sending Invitations

  1. Enter Email Addresses: Type the email addresses of the individuals you wish to invite. You can invite multiple team members simultaneously by separating each email address with a comma.
  2. Assign Roles: Select a role for each new member from the available options: ADMIN, AUTHOR, VIEWER, or SALES.
  3. Send Invitations: Once you've entered the information, click Send Invitations. Invited members will receive an email with instructions on how to join your Poliage workspace.

Understanding Roles

Poliage provides four distinct roles, each with different levels of access and permissions. Here's a brief overview:

ADMIN

  • Permissions: Full access to all features, settings, and data. Can invite new team members, manage roles, and configure integrations.
  • Ideal For: Team leaders or project managers responsible for overseeing the content strategy.

AUTHOR

  • Permissions: Can create, edit, and publish content. Authors have access to analytics and personalization tools but cannot modify team settings or roles.
  • Ideal For: Content creators, editors, and marketers focused on content production and analysis.

VIEWER

  • Permissions: Read-only access to view content and analytics. Cannot create, edit, or publish content.
  • Ideal For: Stakeholders or team members who need to review content performance and strategy without making changes.

SALES

  • Permissions: Access to lead and customer data, content performance related to sales efforts, and personalization insights. Cannot create or edit content.
  • Ideal For: Sales personnel who utilize content and user engagement insights to inform outreach strategies.
